I love the fall
season. Crisp mornings and mild days. Some leaves changing colors and the
wonderful aroma of baking for the holidays. My middle son celebrates his
fifteenth birthday and we are on the home stretch for soccer games. I'm still
floating on a cloud with last weeks good news and feel my Christmas present was
delivered early.
Halloween was on the
quiet side. Not many children came by this year. We had our street light out and
was quite dark besides the porch light. Thank goodness, the candy leftover was
ones the children liked. My youngest son went out with his dad and were back
within an hour and a half.
My middle son had a
birthday today. He is now fifteen and can take the test for his permit. Though
he isn't in a hurry, I suggested to do it during a school break. That way he can
concentrate on the book and not school work too. When he was younger and we had
kid parties, we would use the Halloween candy to fill up the goody bags. Good
way to get rid of all those treats. It will be a busy weekend with soccer,
school carnivals and the family going out to eat for a birthday dinner. My
husbands band will play at Seville Quarter this weekend. We are always on the
go, but find time to spent time together.
My doctors appointment
was moved back one week. I have a few questions to ask and would like to hear
him tell me the results in person. To me, it validates the results. This has
been the best week in the past year. On November 11th, It will be a full year
since I discovered my lump. My life changed forever. The challenge was not easy
and though it continues until February, I have become such a stronger person. In
my Faith and with my everyday life. Next year , I will participate in "Relay
for Life". My body is stronger. Finding a cure for cancer has more meaning. For
my children, sisters, family and everyone else. With Hope, it will one day
happen. Enjoy the beautiful weekend.
My Faith will keep me
strong and my Family will make me smile. Life is good.
