It was the fourth and possibly what veteran’s hope to be the last American Legion in the Northwest Florida area to be robbed, thanks to a local Broadmore Security dealer.
Upon hearing of several break-ins to American Legions – two in Okaloosa, one in Pensacola, and most recently, Navarre – Scott Wheeler immediately responded to help.
Wheeler, a security consultant with Dependable Alarm Co. in Fort Walton Beach, stepped in and offered to wire each post with a system – a $400 value.
