Fire ripped through another home in Holley by the Sea.

About 9 p.m. Thursday, June 25, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 1859 Coral St.

No one was home at the time, said Daniel Mann, owner of the house.

“I was actually on my way home,”  Mann said Friday, sifting through debris.  “And my wife and son are in Tampa.”

It took about 25 minutes to contain the fire, which is thought to have started in the garage, Mann said.

“They’re not sure what caused it yet,”  he said.

Mann is a helicopter gunner for the Air Force, currently stationed at Hurlburt Field. He and his wife bought the home four years ago.

This is the third house destroyed by fire in the well-known subdivision in just more than a month. On June 4, a house on Jasper Street caught fire – the result of a pan filled with grease left on the stove unattended.

On May 25, a house on Fairmont Street was completely destroyed. The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
