The military means too much in Florida to let it go without a fight.

So Gov. Charlie Crist and the State Legislature created the Florida Council on Military Base Mission Support.

“The council will help us maintain our reputation as the most military-friendly state in the nation…,”  Crist said in a prepared statement.
